STUDENTS 'WOULD QUIT WITHOUT EMA'

Six out of 10 of England's poorer students would drop out without their college allowances, a poll for the National Union of Students suggests. A survey of 1,205 education maintenance allowance (EMA) recipients in England's schools and colleges suggests 61% would not be able to continue without it.  BBC
